History

Jan. 1950 Taikei Kagaku Kogyo, Ltd. (Taikei Chemical Industry, Ltd) was founded to produce industrial soap.
Jan. 1951 Woodwork Department was formed to manufacture wood products.
May. 1951 Machine Processing Department was formed.
Sep. 1953 Machine Processing Department was spun off and was incorporated as Kawasaki Seiki Kosakusho, Co., Ltd.
Dec. 1959 The First Plant was built at 1326 Kizuki, Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa.
Sep. 1962 The company started manufacturing and selling squares for measuring cylindrical objects.
1965 The Second Plant was built.
1969 The first Gear Grinding machine was installed.
1971 The First and the Second Plant were expanded.The first roll grinder made by Waldrich Siegen in West Germany was installed.
1972 Large-scale plane grinders were installed.
1973 The second roll grinder made by Waldrich Siegen was installed.
1977 The company was officially certified as an authorized factory by the government of Kanagawa Prefecture.
Dec.1997 A CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine Type UPMC-550 made by Carl Zeiss was installed.
Jul.2005 The second CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine made by Carl Zeiss was installed.
Dec.1997 Super precise surface grinder made by Nagase Integlex was installed.

Awards

Jun. 1976 President Toyo Ueda founded Society of Kanagawa Grinding Industry and was appointed chairperson of the society.
Jun. 1978 The company was awarded a prize by Council of Prevention of Work Accidents in Northern Kawasaki District, for prudent management of prevention of work accidents.
May. 1984 Director Kurasaburo Ueda was conferred a medal decoration and was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays.
Nov. 1984 President Toyo Ueda was conferred a medal decoration for her lifetime of achievement in the metal processing industry and her significant contributions to society as a model manager. She was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon.
May. 1986 President Toyo Ueda was awarded Woman Manager's Award by Daily Industrial News for her excellent performance in managing her company.
Aug. 1988 President Toyo Ueda reorganized Society of Kanagawa Grinding Industry . As a result, Kanagawa Grinding Industry Cooperative Union was established. Toyo Ueda was appointed CEO.
Apr. 1998 The company was officially designated by Kanagawa Prefecture to be a model factory for small and medium enterprises in Kanagawa.
Nov. 1999 Toyo Ueda was appointed CEO and Naotaka Ueda was appointed President.
Jun. 2006 Achieved ISO9001: 2000 certification (Quality management system)
Apr. 2013 Chikao Ueda was appointed President.
